My job had our christmas party there last year and the food was excellent! Very nice!

We just had our wedding there on Nov. 24th. They did such an amazing job. Our banquet Manager was Eileen - she was so helpful throughout the entire process. If we ever had a question, she was quick to respond. The food is amazing, the cake was delicious, the staff was attentive. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I went to look at it and LOVED it. The only problem was it doesnt hold more than 200 and we are inviting 260.
I think it was such a nice place, everyone was friendly, i really loved it there

I looked there. My FH loved it, but I want somewhere more outdoors. We went back for a tasting and the food was great. The woman who helped us was also wonderful.

I looked at the Metropolitan and decided against it. I thought it had a nice, swanky, clublike feeling. However, there's no outdoor area. My biggest problem is that there isn't an elevator for the CH area. I asked about what they did for guests who couldn't handle the stairs and they said they set up a table downstairs and have a waiter. I just didn't like isolating guests who can't do stairs.

I'm getting marreid at The Metropolitan 4 months from TODAY I love it so much... Eileen is wonderful to work with, food is great, from what we've tasted & heard and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for! However, what others on here said is true- I would say max is around 180 (if you don't seat people upstairs) / there are no outdoor grounds (but there is Morgan Park 10 minutes away that you can go for pics- we are) / we are not using the upstairs since we are not having our ceremony there (it's in a church) but there is no elevator....
