Advertisements on liw?- Found out how to get rid of em!!!!

All over this site, on random posts, in the forums I'm seeing green links to advertisements... Is this just on my computer??? I just noticed them a couple days ago

ETA: Just saw this on BHB!

click one of them. top right corner theres a ?. click that. then click disable. and click 'click here to disable' and refresh.

I'm on a MAC! I never have 'pop ups' or anything like that when I'm on the internet.. Seriously is annoying the sht outta me

No, it's a new Ron LIW/LIF ad thing. Way to generate income for the site -- a really annoying way to generate income for the site.

I'm just glad they could be disabled. I learned how to do that on LIF last week. It started there first.

Running the LIW/LIF sites cost Ron and Liz a lot of money so they started the link thing to help create more revenue. All he asks is that you click on a link every now and then. I figure if it keeps the sites free to use it's worth a couple of little green links.
