PreCana tonight : UPDATE

Lori and I have precana tonight

my stomach hurts i am so nervous

anywho i will report back tonight or tomorrow!! we have six thursday night sessions starting tonight and skipping holy thursday

So we had preCana last night - we knew every one there basically - Howard Beach is a small town i guess

Lori and I are not together for the rest of the sessions we even tried to not talk and sit together. .. but we are seperated anyway

So we have to go to the couple's house five times - we met the husband and he seems VERY nice - he basically said you can sit there like a bump on a log or you can actually try to get something out of it. I can already tell that some people just DON'T want to be there and will not even give it a shot - i hope that we can ignore that and try to learn something. . .since we have to be there anyway, might as well!

it is literally one block away from me so that part will be easy! AND i got home in time to watch Grey's - so far so good!

Let us know how it goes....I think PreCana is something we're all dredding...

LOL yeah it is five Thursdays from 8 to 10

actually i find it a lot more helpful to just deal with a happily married couple than with a priest who really doesnt know about marriage!

they must be doing something right both couples have been married 30+ years - plus they are very normal laid back people . . . they aren't like those people that think everyone is going to hell or anything.

yeah - but most of them are either one day or one weekend. . .we wanted to do it at our parish where we are getting married that's why it is different!

yeah i think ours is one weekend, not 100% sure though...also found out that we have to go somewhere else to do it, they dont do it at the church itself that we are getting married at.

i have two sundays left of precana and i have to admit i like it

i hope i like it too! we both promised to make the best of it!

FH's favorite thing to do now when i yell at him ( like when i thought we were going to be late) is say ' oh you arent supposed to do that i am SO telling on you'
