deep purple and raspberry/fuchsia

I have been torn with colors for awhile now and now i thinking I might have an idea.... im thinking a deep purple(not as dark as eggplant, the dessy color african violet was my inspiration) and some kind of deep pink, like a rasperry or deep fuchsia. I would do these two colors with some accents of champange and maybe green(not much just like in the bouquets). does anyone have any pictures that will help me visualize this betteer, i have it in my head but i cant seem to find pictures of what im thinking! I am also looking for BM dress colors that are along these lines, I have not picked my dresses yet so i want to see which designers have colors that would go with this theme. thanks!!

These sound like my original inspiration!!! Yay to you!!! Sounds lovely!!! Here are some of my pics to start. My colors were bright purple and grass green, with accents of gold and ivory. I looked into raspberry, berry, grape colors for my bridesmaids as well. I found the best colors were in Jim Hjelm bridesmaids. They have a color called raspberry, and other great berry colors. The dresses are $200 and up if I remember. My Melissa Sweet dresses were called Cassis, and the green was Leaf. They were all $228 and $298 ( I had one long style). FM me if you have any specific questions!

Link to a Jim Hjelm dress If you click on the 'swatch card' link, you will see all the colors this fabric comes in. Then check out the different dresses that come in this fabric.

Here are some pro pics from my wedding by Blue Daisy Photography. To see them all go to her blog Here scroll down to Allegra and Michael's wedding. Good luck!

Hi! This is my color scheme as well My primary flower is orchid- dendrobium orchids for CP's (Allegra has them in her photos as well) and cymbidum (which has the fuschia center) in my bouquet.

My bridesmaids are in 'Sangria Purple' and my MOH's are in 'rosette', the combination looks wonderful, wish I had photos...2 more months till my wedding.

thank you soooo much!!! the pictures are beautiful. I have been thinking about using orchids all along, that fuschia color is awesome. Allegra, do you mind share how much your flowers cost? bouquets and centerpieces? i love the orchid at the place setting. i was afraid the orchids would be too much money. I was thinking about ordering potted orchid plants online which are cheaper but these centerpieces are gorgeous. and see you used Burtons, they were the first florist i was going to check out.

mrscasteneda, I love your centerpieces in your album and that price is great, I think I will check out your florist as well. I cant wait to see your wedding pics!!

Thank you so much! I actually used Spitz and Peck for my wedding flowers. The Royalton where I had my ceremony and reception force you into either S+P or Stefan's for florists. Kind of annoying but whatever. You can pay $1000 to get out of that and then use your own florist, but we chose to work with S+P (Wade, Huntington location) because we found them to be consummate professionals and immediately 'got' my vision. I did use Burton's for my e-party flowers though, and they were very reasonably priced. I would recommend meeting with them, bring lots of pictures, and see if they can do what you like. My wedding flowers for 16 CPs (mixed high and low, the lows were all different and most had 3 different vases), 2 MOH bouquets, 5 BM bouquets, 1 groom bout, 2 father bouts, 3 convertible wrist/pin corsages, Bride bouquet, wrought iron ceremony arch that went behind us at the reception covered in orchids, roses, white lilies, petals for petal cones and aisle, main entryway centerpiece (shown in photo), 2 foyer arrangements, orchids at each place setting....$5300. It is high for a lot of people, but it was not crazy for us, we thought we got a lot, plus exceptional customer service from start to finish. I LOVE mrs.castanedain09's CPs, so I would DEF check out Designs by Rose! Good luck with everything!!!!

Those are my colors! My BM are wearing a Bill Levkoff dress in euro eggplant and my MOH is wearing the dress in euro fuchsia. The picture of the flowers below is good because the girl holding them is in a deep purple dress.

That is actually quite reasonable, considering that some of the people who said they were using S&P and doing something similar to it sounds like what you did, were like outrageously priced - $7-10K and i was like 'whoa! that is so not happening in my budget!!'

Btw, your flowers & color scheme were gorgeous!!! i <3ed it!!
