Hello all! I was just wondering what quotes and verses you are all using on invites, programs, etc?
Here are some of mine:
Love Autumnal by Oliver Jenkins
My love will come in autumn-time When leaves go spinning to the ground And wistful stars in heaven chime With the leaves’ sound
Then, we shall walk through dusty lanes And pause beneath low-hanging boughs, And there, while soft-hued beauty reigns We’ll make our vows.
Let others seek in spring for sighs When love flames forth from every seed; But love that blooms when nature dies Is love indeed!
And also this song lyric from 'If I Should Fall Behind' by Bruce Springsteen:
Everyone dreams of love, lasting and true But you and I know what this world can do So let’s make our steps clear, that the other may see And I’ll wait for you and if I should fall behind, wait for me.

Re: Quotes and Poems
Here is the link to a thread I started on 07 with a lot of diffrent readings
I want to use this for my invitations: As autumn leaves turn their brilliant hues, two lovebirds will join and say, “I do.”
I used this for my STD cards: This autumn we will join as one with memories of the summer’s sun, visions of the winter’s chill, shared hopes and dreams to now fulfill.
I wanted to use this in the invitations, but FH didn't like it because it was too long: Springtime love is young and fine, while ripe is the love of Summertime. Winter love is strong and cool, but Autumn love is best of all for it’s ripe and fine, strong and full.
I'm gettimg married in mid-November when leaves are already colorful, so I couldn't use this, but I like it: As the trees burst into color and the autumnal season arrives they pledge their faith, their love, their lives

Re: Quotes and Poems
On our programs:
Love rules the court, the camp, the grove, and men below and the saints above, for love is Heaven, and Heaven is love. -Sir Walter Scott
