Married girls: Please post pics of your wedding shoes that are not white/ivory
Hi girls! I'm thinking of dying my shoes a light green (the color would match the girls' honeydew colored dresses). It's my favorite color and it's our main wedding color. I think it would be fun to have colored shoes but my mom is totally against it! Could you girls post photos of yourself in your dress with your colored shoes on? I want to show her some photos and get her on the colored-shoes bandwagon. TIA!

love love love them! I just love that POP from the color! My mom thinks the shoes should match the dress exactly but I'm trying to convince her it would be fun and nice to see that bit of color!

i like it too well obviously lol. I like that its not all white ya know. I mean from head to toe you have the white veil, the white dress and then the white shoes. I love when shoes do pop and have color and adds to the contrast. Its becoming pretty popular now too. Ivanka trump did it, Bobby Flay's wife who was on law and order, and even on here quite a few did it. Plus you can wear the shoes after, with white its hard to do that.

I totally agree - the little bit of color makes it less blah. And it is becoming more popular but when I told it to my mom she looked at me like I had 8 heads - like ' WHO DYES THEIR WHITE WEDDING SHOES???' LOLOL And the photos you posted below are awesome! I love the pink and any color really. I'll show my mother these photos and see if she still hates the idea THANK YOU

I plan to do the same thing, either red or blue shoes....it may sound crazy to others at first...but truly comes together beautiful. Great job girls!

its funny but some people asked MIL at the wedding 'why is she wearing blue shoes' i think somebody even thought i forgot my shoes and had to wear these lol, but everyone who said that was older and very old school lol. Most people did love it, and even my dentists wife, my mom showed her the pics, everytime she sees me now she always brings up the blue shoes and says how much she loved it and really stood out.
hey nowadays people even wear colored wedding gowns so anything goes. Just do what you like bc you have to wear it ya know. Just show your mom LOTS of pics to show her how it is becoming popular now and not that youre crazy hahahaha. I'll see if i find other pics too so you can have more to show lol

I always knew I wanted to wear hot pink shoes with my dress to match my theme. I almost didn't find a pair I was in love with until a week before my wedding. It was love at first sight! And they were on sale so that made them even more awesome.

I really recommend doing this because you are more likely to wear the shoes again. I wore mine again to my friends wedding and I'll be taking them on my honeymoon.
