I have a friend who is getting married and I was thinking of making one of those 'towel cakes' ~ I was just curious to see how many of you have made them? Do you have pics? if so can you post it for me? and do you have directions on how to make it?

sorry i have never made a towel cake but i just made a diaper cake last week
i got the directions from about.com
it was soooo easy and came out really nice
i would try there first i assume it's the same thing

I made a towel cake for my SIL's shower in July. It's really easy. I got the directions from Bliss Wedding Market. They have an 8 minute video clip that shows you exactly what to do. It helped me greatly.

my MOH made a beautiful one for me, with the Happily Ever After theme! AND she just so happens to be a member on here, so you can FM her for advice, if you want!!! It was SO nice! I was VERY impressed!!!

I have a picture of the one I made for Sarah. It was a lot of fun to do!
I've done several! The best one I did was sage towels with ribbon that was sage and purple plaid. I don't have pics of that one but I think the bride might! There are so many ways to do them!
