who did you donate to?

Many brides donate to charities and we actually were going to donate to a local animal shelter...we love animals. Then we chose to honor our dads' heritages bec we felt it was more of a tribute to them....the Holocaust Museum and the Japanese-American Museum.

We are either donating to the FDNY Burn Center (My dad is a fireman), or the Americorps Book Mobile (FH and I are both teachers)

ok, so those donating to the american cancer society (which we are as well) have you heard anything about them supplying you with the donation cards and live strong bracelets in white? doesnt make a difference to me, but i read that on an older thread but cant find any info on it on their site. so if anyone wants to FM me any info, send it my way!

FH and I decided to make a donation for less fortunate children back home in Haiti.

Most girls make a donation based on a organization that hits closer to home and may have a personal meaning to them.

I've donated to Save a Pet in Port Jefferson because i got my two cats from them and i LOVE animals. I made one donation card for each table and will also place a larger one in a frame on the place card table.

they came out so pretty

I was planning to do the donation as a favor... I would choose The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or American Heart Association or American Cancer Association. They are just close to my heart...and can be in honor of someone I love.
