Review of Russos with PICS!
Well I went to FBIL's wedding @ RUSSO's on the Bay yesterday-it was AMAZING! What else can be said that hasn't already been said?! The place itself is amazingly GORGEOUS & it was decorated beautifully for Autumn/Thanksgiving. The staff were the nicest peope I have ever met & they were sooo accomodating. They handed out slippers @ the end of the night, which were AWESOME, my feet were done for it, by then! FH said the maitre'd was soooooo helpful to the B&G & BP. Nicest people! They had the ceremony there with hospitality before the cereony & that in and of itself was AMAZING-it was crazy! so much food & a cappaucino (sp?) bar! The ceremony was beautiful and the cocktail hour was amazing! so much food it was insane!! the reception was BEAUTIFUL! They came up from the floor in the elevator-what a grand entrance!!! Obviously if you are getting married there, you have nothing to worry about, but you didn't need me to tell you that! I got some info on the vendors they used from FSIL for you, so here goes :)
For Flowers they used PEDESTALS-which FSIL said she was a little nervous of how everything was going to come out but when the flowers arrived @ her house, she was SHOCKED!! She said they far exceeded her expectations in all the BM's bouquet, & her bouquet & the centerpieces!
For music they used Continental DJ Entertainment-the were great-played exactly what the B&G wanted and had everyone dancing the whole time!
For Photo they used ALDO, which i think she said was recommended from the hall. They seemed to be doing a great job!
The videographer was from the same place they got limos which was M&M-she said the limos were great, on time, really nice drivers & clean. The rolls even came back @ the end of the party to pick the B&G up!! The videographer was great-they had someone going around with a digital camera and worked with the DJ to be put on the screen as it happened!! it was cool! The coolest was right before their entrance they replayed their vows, and right after my FSIL said 'I thee wed' the room was totally silent & then the house music started & the elevator started to go up! it was awesome!!
They used ELITE for tuxedos--they were nice but only problem was there were 10 guys in the bridal party and when they all met up, about half of them had the wrong shirt on!! the place was opened, thankfully on Sunday and they had to stop there on the way to the ceremony & they took care of it----just an added stress that was not needed! One plus, was that FH was able to return the tux on Long Island-they have a store by the Source Mall-even though they rented them in Brooklyn.
