Butterfly release instead of petals.Where can i get them???
I resently saw an episode of 'A Wedding Story'(I love that show!!) and one of the brides released butterflies outside of the church. It was beautiful because they landed on her bouquet and it was great for pictures. I would love to do this but where do I begin to look???HELP??

Dear Bride, My sister just got married this summer and is a butterfly finatic so she did a release and it was a waste. Half the butterflies were dead and if you want them to land on you then you have to rub fruit on yourself. They were also expensive. If you want the name of where she got them from I'll find out for you but in my professional opinion, it's a waste. Sheryl-Fabulous Favors

I totally agree with the previous post. I try to discourage any of my clients from using a butterfly release. I have witnessed many horrible situations where several butterflys fell to the ground in front of the bride and are struggling on the ground. It is a big turn off for the guests. Companies that sell the butterfly release offer no guarantee of the condition of the butterflies. Do you really want to take a chance of something like that happening on your wedding day? I am a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants - and I do not know of any consultant who approves of the butterfly release becasue of all the problems. Save yourself a lot of stress-do something else. STAN WIEST A.STAN WIEST MUSIC www.stanwiest.com Member Association of Bridal Consultants

Hello, I so hate to rain on your idea but honestly I have never had it go all that well when my couples have ordered them. However, I did look at your date, and the end of August would be the best weather conditions for success. My advice is if you have your heart set on doing this, perhaps you could ask an expert on butterflies! There is a nature center in Smithtown called 'Sweetbriar' and they have a huge butterfly house every year. I'll bet you someone there could help you become a better informed potential butterfly consumer!
Wishing you the beautiful transformation into your new life that the butterfly is a symbol of, and many healthy happy years together.

You need to contact a reputable company. I have spoken to Magical Begininnigs on this site before he came on (since I heard this can happen and as a animal lover a concern). He explained to me the correct way to transport them.. I would call him. Magical Beginnings website
