HELP!! How do you get those white water spots off of shower doors???

My DH's bathroom, now our bathroom, has white water spots on the inside of the shower doors. No matter how hard I scrub, they are still there and it makes the doors look dirty, even though they're clean.

Any hints for getting rid of these things???

Thanks!!
