Which Memorial Poem do you Like Best???? Please Answer!!
I have been dreading the moment I had to pick a poem in memorian of my brother for our wedding programs. I am at that point though and As I am very upset and in tears here, I need you honest help in picking the best, most sweetest poem for my brother. I hurts me so bad right now to have to be writing that I am looking for a memorial poem for him, when he should be here, standing up on that alter with me next week. I have tried for the past year of planning to avoid this very moment as it is bringing all the past back to reality right now. So, please, give me you honest opinions on any of these poems. #1 Family Chain
We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
