question about ribbons and bows and how to make them.
okay, i am making my own invites and i am going to attatch vellum to card stock. i want to tie a bow at the top, like a shoe lace bow, but i can't seem to make it symmetrical, it always goes diagnol. i could do the push through the sides thing with the ribbon using my thin satin ribbon or get wider sheer ribbon but i like the thin satin ribbon. i could make the bow perfectly symmetrical if i used ribbon with wire, but i can't find thin satin ribbon with wire. any suggestions?

I've been trying to get this right also -- I found that if I turn the invite 90 degrees to the left and then just tie the bow .. it comes out straight and flat when you turn the invite back upright.
Don't know if this will help -- but I hope so! It's seems to work for me.
