Does anyone have pics of two story foyers with dual staircases?

I'm so excited, we are meeting with our architect this Thursday to start planning our next home addition (we will probably be doubling the square footage of our home, so I'm not sure if 'addition' is the correct word! )

We'd like a two story foyer that has two staircases on either side of the entry that meet up at the top...does this make sense?

We will also be adding definately four more bedrooms! This is so exciting!

Any pictures would be helpful!

I like the ones where you go up one, the it branches out at the top. It makes more sense to me. Esspecially if there are two wings at the top, one to the left and one to the right.

We are using the same architect who designed our master bedroom suite (it was an addition to the house)...we survived that (which involved gutting the entire home)...now that we have liveable space, it won't be as traumatic as this new project.

I'm sure it's going to be difficult, but no pain, no gain.

If you have any recommendation for contractors that are quick and actually FINISH a job, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

THe meeting went very well!!!

We will hear from them in a few weeks as to the preliminary designs.....
it's going to be like adding an entire home to our existing home!

THere's going to be a lot of proposed changes!
But it's all very exciting!
