I have a quick question about crystals on a wedding gown. Is Sworovski cyrstyal or Austrian crystal more expensive or nicer on a wedding gown. What do you think is nicer?

Maybe I'm naive, but I think on a wedding gown that it is usually so small, it doesn't matter. Crystal is crystal IMO.

I'm not sure I understand your question...Are you asking if there's a difference between Swarovski Crystals and Austrian Crystals?
I can't imagine having 'Swarovski' branded crystals on a gown adding that much more to the cost. And to be honest, no one would be able to distinguish the difference between a 'Swarovski' branded crystal bead and a 'no-frills' austrian crystal bead.

I wanted to know if there was a difference between the two crystals I wasn't sure if the crystal was made the same way, I do not know much about crystal I was just curious if any one knew.
One of of the wedding dresses I was considering did have Sworvaski crystal on it. Thats what the sales woman told me and I also read is on the computer.

Is the dress you're talking about made by Maggie Sottero? Most of her gowns have swarovsky--and beleive it or not, they are cheaper than the ones w/out. Her gowns are beautiful and Im highly leaning towards one w/ the Swarovski on it......I think it looks stunning.......

I agree. I think Swarovski is just a brand of Austrian crystal. And in my opinion... I love sparkle! The more the better!
