Grrr! Went to an e-party yesterday. My BM from hell was there and started in with nastiness again!
So, we had to leave. (well, we didn't HAVE to, but if we didn't, I REALLY think it would have gotten BAD)
And, as we were leaving, she yelled out: 'Hey, the party isn't over yet. You're leaving and the party isn't even over yet'

Yesterday was the first time that I've seen her since my wedding.
When I was getting a cup of coffee, she took a digital photo of my hand, and ran around showing it to everyone while saying, 'Look, she gave me the middle finger'

WOW!! I just read your post about her. She seriously has some issues.. it seems like with you. She thinks you were a 'bridezilla'. It also sounds like, based on what you wrote, that she didn't agree with how you were keeping in touch with the BM- email. I can't believe she is 34 and how she behaved at your wedding. I am surprised you didn't throw her out. What does your FH say since it is his cousin? Does she have an illness or something? It sounds like ADD. What a mess!! I'm sorry you had to go through that. I hope it didn't ruin your day.

Actually, he says that he never did like her. (He did warn me about having her in the bridal party, but I never imagined that she'd behave that way)
He says that he remembers people saying things like, 'Oh, that's just the way she is. Ignore her.'
He says that people have said that for as long as he can remember.
At this point, he absolutely cannot stand her...
(We are having a grad party for him in 2 weeks. It's being held at his mom's house. He told me and his mom that if his cousin is there, he will leave)

i dont know how you kept your cool, I seriously think I would have punched her- Im not the fighting type but after all that I think at first there would be a gasp and then an applause from everyone!!! LOL. Keep your chin up she is looking to push all of your buttons. What does your cousin say? Does he see his wifes behavior? Does he stick up for her?

I am the wife. It's my husband's cousin that acts like the witch...He does not stick up for her. He cannot stand her...

Oh I get it, Im sorry I thought she was married to your husbands cousin. Its his cousin, yikes, and I guess the family accepts her behavior by saying ah shes always like this. Have you ever confronted her? Get her on tape secretly and have a meeting with your aunt ( her mom) and your mom I know it may sound childish but I dont think it will stop until some sort of effort from you takes place. Who knows what she is saying about you and your husband to others. I'd confront her. And after the confrontation it doesnt work at least your aunt and your mom know where you stand and it will iron itself out. My family had a very similiar situation and that is how it was handled.

Her mother was right there yesterday when she did it. Her mother did not say ONE WORD to her...
She's also on my raw video footage with her finger up. Everyone sees it. But, no one does anything about it...

OH my GOD!!!! I don't know WHAT I'd do if this happened to me. She sounds like she needs serious mental help. She also sounds like she is completely socially backwards. Being that people just gloss over her behavior, it is no wonder why it continues!!! She sounds like she is not the type of person that takes responsibility for her actions (calling you a bridezilla, when she was the one acting like a monster). If it were me I think I would have lost my cool.

WOW! I personally would have a hard time not FLIPPING OUT on her! BUT...Being the bigger person says a lot!

I hate to say it but is sounds like maybe there is something wrong with her - NOT just that she needs a padded room which she very well might - but could she have something called ausberger (sp?) syndrom - - where you do and say VERY inappropriate things - could this also be why the family kind of ignores the behavior?

I think though SERIOUSLY she may have a mental illness..it just doesnt sound right?? I agree then something is up, maybe thats why her mom doesnt say anything. Im sorry you have to go through this, your a newlywed happy times and you have to worry about this. Vent to us anytime you want- DO NOT let her see you mad she is trying real hard to accomplish that. Its too bad too, maybe cause no one is saying anything she thinks its ok who knows. Im sorry hugs to you

Can't believe she was making a big deal about you leaving early. Maybe you weren't feeling good and that's why you wanted to leave.(I know you wanted to leave early)

I agree. Honestly, knowing me, I'd call her on it. Not necessarily flip out (though it'd be difficult to hold back), but make her feel as horrible as she acts. I don't think that she has a mental problem exactly, to me it sounds like she's just a negative person and doesn't like others to be happy because she's not. She's 34, and acts like a bitter old hag! It's possible that she just needs someone to put her in her place... and I can do that for you, if you want. Just tell me where & when!

When I first met DH's family, I thought she was REALLY nice...(he kept telling me to be careful, but she seemed like a nice person)
