I had my first love and I'll always remember him, but I would not/could not ever be with him again....we're such different people than we were at 15/16!!!
I was with my 'love' for 5 years... I didn't really know what love was until I found it. Do I still care about the first guy? Of course!!!! But the way I care is for him to find somone to make him as happy as I am. He is still out there looking.

But even though, she will have a certain place always.. it's not great.. but there's a place.. back then, she was pretty special.

I had 2 other loves b4 FH and there will always be a special place in y heart for them. I'd never get back with them under any circumstances, but the one I see on occasion gives me warm fuzzies every time I see him. But we dated something like 8 years ago, so...

I don't think I believe in one true love....Of course I love FH, but I don't believe that there is one person in this universe I could be this happy with. I have had relatives pass away, and their spouses were able to find love and happiness with another person....

No...I actually will be the minority and say that I have had true love before..didnt end becasue there was no love..still is love up to this day..he wait up unitl 1 year b4 my wedding for me to change my mind before he settled for this girl..they are to be married in October. DH knows this..but he understand the whole story and knows although I have emotion..there is no chance of me going back...I am here to stay with him...Only 2 people ever had my heart..I dont give it freely.

I love my DH more than anything - but I do have an open spot in my heart for someone very special to me - that I never dated - he is married to someone else. But I think another time, another place we would have ended up together.

Fh is my true love, but he's not the only true love I've had. I will always have very special feelings for my ex. I don't know if this is wrong of me, but I'm pretty certain the feelings I have for him will never go away. Would I chose him over FH, obvioulsy not or I wouldn't be getting married.

But to answer the question, yes DH is my one true love ...and God forbid if something ever happened to him, I doubt highly that I could ever find anyone who I could love the same way again.
I always say that it took meeting him and loving him to realize what love was.. and that those who I THOUGHT I loved in the past I really didn't ... DH totally 'completes' me in every way possible, and I don't have any thoughts about any ex's in the same way whatsoever. I think of 'some' of them fondly, yes.. but nothing of a warm, fuzzy or romantic nature.

No. My first love was my one true love. But we were young and it didn't last.
I love my husband and I think I was more 'in love' with him back when we were first dating. But there has been alot of water under the bridge betwen us and I don't feel the same for him as I did before we were married. I still 'love' him but it's never been the heart stopping, harlequin romance, fire and ice, kind you die for type of love.
