i know im not sure what im going to do in regards to that wither. i think that if your ceilings are extra high it looks great but if there on the lower side it only seems to make the ceiling seem lower

i have it done..let me find the pic. i have a small house, but its a light color and it looks great! everyone commented on it!

I don't have a pic but our whole house ( a new construction) was all painted the same color, ceilings included and it looks fine. We do have 9 foot ceilings so that probably helps.

I personally think that white ceilings stand out better but to save $7K we went with all the same color.

I saw this tip on Oprah. I am also going to paint my ceiling a color and not white in all the rooms. Here is a picture of what I am doing with the dining room. Red walls and a tan ceiling.
