I haven't seen these dresses at the stores I've went to but I just had to say that #1 & #3 are absolutely gorgeous!

Re: Did you try on this dress?
There is one similar to #1 (the top is plain though) at a bridal shop across the street from my job in Great Neck. FM me if you want the name of it. I dont know it off the top of my head
Have you tried Kleinfeld's in Brooklyn? I know you don't want to drive all the way out to Suffolk and Bklyn is probably no closer, but I hear that is THE place to go in NY when you're looking for a certain type of dress/designer. haven't tried on any dresses yet...it's the only place I can come up with. www.kleinfeldbridal.com
they are all gorgeous dresses.

I have a Justin Alexander and noticed several in the list are his. I know Flowerama in Elmont or in Ridgewood carry his dresses, whichever store is more convenient for you. They have a website with their address and phone and they were very helpful, good prices too. Good luck His dresses look fabulous on.

I tried on this dress, it looks awesome in the picture but the material was not that nice in person, it had some ugly silk flowers on it.

I can't say I have seen them anywhere. But I have heard good things about Kleinfields....maybe check them out?
Or maybe you can contact the designer and see where their dresses are sold!?

Re: Did you try on this dress?
Thanks ladies. So far I found 2 of the dresses and a lot of similar ones at various stores.
I'd rather try on the exact dress. Lots of shops want brides to visualize the actual dress when trying something close but I'm not that visual I guess. I need the actual dress.

I'm trying to avoid Kleinfeld. Never been there but I have heard too many negatives.
These are the ones I found so far. I would not order the gown in red though. It comes in natural (silk white).

Ugh. The material is tissue taffeta which does not bother me but the flowers were distracting?

I also love #3, at least in that picture, but no, I didn't try on any of those.
I was also going to suggest Kelienfled's. Some people love, it some people hate it, but if you are in a bind, Id try it.. . mayeb you can try it on there & find someplace else to order it , that just may not have a sample on hand.

Too bad that is so stunning in the photograph would appear so disappointing in person (#3 in the first post). It is absolutely gorgeous!

Ok. I broke down and called Kleinfeld. They do not have any of the dresses I want to try and only carry 3 gowns by Justin Alexander.

His dresses are very inexpensive and from what I've heard that's not their market
