An opportunity has been given to me, where I am allowed to choose one of a choice of gifts. It has nothing to do with the wedding. The selection is not that great: money clip, earrings ( ), tool set, cd player, etc. Anyway, I've narrowed down my choices to either a DVD player (which I really dont need) or a 10 piece set of circulon pots and pans set. I've all ready registered for pots and pans, but now Im thinking I should take them off the registry and take the pots as the gift. I asked FH and (of course) he was no help in the matter. What should I do?

The pots and pans definitely. They will outlast all the other gifts. Add another thing to your registry that you really want.

Why are you about the earrings? That would be my first choice but if they are not all that then my next choice would be the pots and pans. Take the others off your registry and put something else big and significant in their place.

If you don't like the earrings, I'd go for the pots and pans too. Good cookware lasts a long time. You can put something else in its place on your registry.

Pots and Pans! That's probably the most valuable of the gifts on offer anyway. Just add extra things to your registry
