i have free ferry/bus tickets to Mohegan Sun as a result of a really bad experience there a few months ago --- it was so bad, I don't even want to use the FREE passes to go back!!!

I'd offer them up, but they're in my name.

1. I just looked over at DH and I was thinkin he looks soo cute lying there sleeping and how much I love him!!

2. I am thinking it was really not nice of Julz to post she cut her hair and then not come back and show us!!

I'm just kidding, marriage is GREAT!! I LOVE it and I love my DH to death, I am just kidding around!!! Been cooped up in the house all day with family issues, thats all!!

ok, here's the Horrible Mohegan experience:

(extremely short version)

We get on the ferry from orient to CT, and we're more than halfway there when we're told that the water is very rough, and they may cancel all ferries back to LI. We're thinkin 'great, we;re stranded.'

Get to CT, have to wait 1hr for a bus to the casino. Bus finally comes, and 10 minutes into the ride, the driver of our bus HITS another bus. We're stopped for over an hour as the cops come and take everyone's name and contact info.

Get to the casino, hours late, and the pulltab thingys that you're supposed to get (who wins on those anyway?) were all gone, so we got nothing.
Complained to the bus department at the casino about our inconvenience, and were told 'it's not my problem.' We only had a few hours at the casino before catching the last bus back, and we tried to use our meal vouchers (included in the ferry price) - the buffet RAN OUT OF FOOD. We had to find another place, and of course, it ended up costing us money. There were people smoking in the non-smoking section - no one did ANYTHING about it.

He hit thunderstorms the whole busride back to the ferry- ferry was late (thank goodness it was actually running) - bus dropped us at the dock and left - we had to wait an hour for the ferry, in THE POURING RAIN, thunder, lightning, etc. There's a little building near the dock, but it was locked, and the people working in there said that they can't let anyone in after 10pm. People were pissing ON the building because they couldn't get IN the building.

I made a couple phone calls (bus company, Mohegan Sun) the week after we were home, but I got the 'it's not our problem' story from both sides. I wrote a VERY descriptive letter expressing my disappointment in the complete and utter lack of customer service, and sent it to the bus co., the casino, and the ferry service (the ticket I purchased included services from all of those companies).... I finally heard back from the casino about a month after I mailed the letter. They gave me 2 free ferry/bus passes. EXACTLY what I need!!!

I was just irriatated that our whole day was wasted, and no one was giving ANY compensation, not even an APOLOGY, until I wrote a nasty complaint letter.

We had a horrible day.
