show me your petal cone..

I'm starting my do it yourself projects and I would love to see your petal cones, scavenger hunt cameras and anything else you made!

I just bought the biggest paper doilies they had at Michael's, cut them in half (I tried quarters but it didn't work as well) and tapped them. I didn't put ribbon or anything on them I thought the doily looked good enough.

Here's a rough draft of mine. I'm going to try some different paper and maybe a thin string-like ribbon to tie on the bottom instead of the one shown.

very pretty! I bought the Vellum paper, which i love but is a bit more than i would like to spend. I have seem some with scrap book paper which i love also!

can't post a picture, but we used 8 ' papaer doilies and formed tehm into a cone, and stapeld them. Will be tying a small white bow with small ribbon rose (white) over the staple We stapled them so tht the outside (looks ruffled) edge of the doliy is sticking out...looks lke a piece of lace
