I just had a heart attack!

So I go to the post office this morning to mail out the rest of my invites. I sent out 110 of them on Saturday and the guy behind the counter assured me that they would be fine and that he would personally hand cancel each and every one of them for me. I didn't realize that he didnt weigh them

So I go back this morning with a few more and the guy weighs the first one and says to me 'Oh this is over' and my mouth drops I go 'WHAT?!?!?!' and he goes 'Yea this is over, you need another stamp on this'.... So I am flipping out and then he says 'Yea you only have 37 cents on here and you need ____ (dont remember how much he said) So I look at the invite and say 'UMMM no this is a 60 cent stamp' and he looks closely at the invite and goes 'OOOOH I am sorry I thought it was a 37 cent stamp' Sorry?!??! For what.. giving me a heart attack?? yea thanks!! OMG I almost died! I said to him 'That would of been realllllly bad considering I sent out 110 of them on Saturday!! And he goes 'Yea you would of got them all back!'

Could you imagine!??!? At least I can now laugh about it!!

OMG! That would have stopped my heart too!!! Im so glad he was mistaken!

I HATE the post office.

When they weighed my invites, they said 60 cents. Then, they sold me the stamps, at which point I stepped aside, stamed all 125 invites, and then hand cancelled them all.

Then, as I was leaving the box on the counter, another worker says, 'hmmmm, this *might* not be enough postage'

I was FURIOUS.

When I went to send my thankyous, I asked if wax seals were okay to use. That guy was like 'yeah, sure'. Well, EVERY single wax seal was ruined! People got their thank you cards and didn't know what the big globs on the back were.
