7/3/05 review- OJC- now with pics

i am adding in a couple of comments about my photographer- BM. although i was pleased w/the proofs- i found out after the fact that my lighting assistant was not there on my wedding day. i know it is odd that i didn't realize- but my bridemaids did and i had an odd feeling that there was one person missing. my stepfather called and they are reimbursing usa very small amount opf money. in addition- there are pictures i actually remember taking that i do not have- however the person i am dealing with said he will take a look to see if there are some proofs he didn't give us. my only thought is- why don't i have every single picture that was taken- even if it is not good?? i don't know if this is a common practice or what. anyway- just wanted to give a quick update! hope it helps!

incredible! loved evry second- not one complaint. president caterers are amazing to work with and i would definitely recommend them

Peter Greco- Band- A++++++++++++++++
again- awesome band and did everything right!

Flowers- I hired a woman named barbara from dazzling parties and she coordinated my flowers. she used masters and company for the flowers and everything was picture perfect- chuppah, bouquets, centerpieces- unbelievable! A++++++++++++++++

Makeup- Ann Demarco- A+++++++++++
she is just awesome- i love her- she did me, my mom and mil. she did a fabulous job abd we all did airbrushing- it was perfect!!!

\Hair- eileen- haircraft forward- A++++++++
I have used this person for so many years- she did my bat mitvah and prom as well- i have long, red curly hair and it took over 3 hours to do, but it was perfect!!! plus i had 2 hair trials- she is just wonderful!!!!

Lida Video- A+++++++++++++++
pauline and dennis are wonderful to work with. our photo montage was beautiful and well done. con't wait for the raw footage!!!

i am please with the proofs i got yesterday- they are beautiful and there are a lot of my ceremony, and a lot from before the wedding. i have about 700-750 proofs, but i would have liked more- but i have enough from friendsa and family also, so i guess that compensates. all in all though- the pictures are great and i do not have complaints.

dress- bridal reflections massapequa- A++++
everything went smoothly- no complaints- my dress fit perfectly by zizi- the seamstress- who actually was hired to dress me- i love her!!!!!

bridesmaids dresses- netbride- A++++
they were shipped a few weeks before they were due in and it was a lot cheaper than the stores.

honeymoon- riviera maya- aventura spa palace- adults only-- A++++++

a great resort for honeymooners. they cater to your every need. food choices were unlimited, the actual food was ok. i dn't drink- but husband does and he did a lot of it. we went on some excursions and we loved swimming w/the dolphins!!!!! awesome!!!! we missed the hurricane by 2 days- thank god and we are now home and still honeymooning- we are both teachers- so we will be on our honeymoon till sept 7!! yippee!!!

Thanks for the review! We are getting married at Temple Chaverim, which is also President Caterers and we are so excited. The food, service etc etc is suppose to be wonderful and I am glad you confirmed that. Would love to see pics! By the way, any other info you may have on the photographer BM would be greatly appreciated as we are looking into them, but they have gotten some negative feedback on the boards here.

i had no idea that BM would be taken out- wow!! anyway- eileen- yes- i'd love it if you could post some pics.... ojc was the best- they went above and beyond on everything and i totally recommend- actually- husband andi want to be invited to a wedding that they cater.... i just wish i could be a guest at my own wedding!!!! :)
