Poll: Would you pay for your BM's Dresses or...

BM dresses will be $217.25, and the salon we're ordering from requires 60% as a deposit.

The girls would have to front the $130.35 each, and I would front the rest as a gift to them, $86.90 each

What ya think?

DECISION: OKay Okay - I'm listening to all of you and the girls are find w/paying 100% of their dresses.

this dress thing is turning you nutty- you have always been the frugal bride...now you are paying for MORE stuff

let them pay- it IS a little steep, but just keep the accessories low, or pay for those instead as gifts.....I just don't think your girls would see it as the generous gift it is....

that's a beautiful dress but comes with a steep price tag. i would:

a) pay the 40% and add gifts.

or

b) find another dress for a lesser price pay for it as gratitude for your bms to be involved in your wedding along with added gifts.

i paid for my girls' dresses because it was me who asked them to be a part of my wedding. but of course the dresses didn't cost nearly as much. i had a pro seamstress make them. have you thought about hiring a seamstress to do the job?

Honey its not that bad of a price ......I agree snap out of it!!! dont make your self crazy- i know people who has asked there girls to pay a lot more then that - If you want give them all gift cert. to get there nails and there feet done and what ever else u wanted to give -

Thanks for that, I don't know her well enough to smack her..

You are driving yourself nuts. If you all love the dress then get that dress. Come up with other things to get them as gifts.

It's a beautiful dress. Maybe you could look around for a better price? $217 isn't bad but if you are worried, you have some time.

They should pay for there dresses.. You can get them a extra gift to where at the wedding like jewelry!

OKAY GIRLS! I'M BACK - THE BM'S AGREED TO PAY FOR THE DRESS ON THEIR OWN 100% B/C THEY EXPECTED TO PAY A LOT MORE (B/C THEY HAVE IN THE PAST.)
