There is a Mobil by me that DH just told me has REGULAR 87 gas for $3.39, YUP, over 3 frikin dollars!
I think they are INSANE!!! needless to say NOBODY was in that place as usual!
the 92 was $3.69!
I hope that the other places don't follow suit Too soon...

I heard it was about the same, right off the meadowbrook in freeport. That place used to have the cheapest gas.

There are some cheap places on Queens Blvd on my way home from work tonight i'll pass.
I wonder if they will be over $3 as well? Probably.

Yikes!! A little better here in Philly, but not too much! One place was like 2.80 for regular, but I found a place for 2.65!! Sometimes I go to S. Jersey to get gas, it's only 2.55 there!!

Im in SC and regular is 2.49-and the girl who works at the gas station said this weekend regular is supposed to go up 3.79...so expect it to go up to a ridiculous price up there...sorry ladies

its going up, its a matter of how much today was the really first day to see Huricanne Kitana and what it did. Now that New Orleans has to be evacated, those refianies (responisble for 25% of US output) are reduce or out of comminsh indenfitatly.
bush needs to tap in the reserves others we will fell it...and even if they tap it, we will fell it anyway but not as much

FI friend called him last night and told him that as they spoke prices were going up all over....we went out and filled up for $2.89....the lines were INSANE! Apparently now the prices are about $3.40. WHAT A MESS!!!!

Last night before dinner we filled my car at $2.75. Went home, got DH's car, and it was $2.89!!!! In about an hour!!!!

DH and I saw the best. On LIE Service Rd.North and Motor Parkway it was $3.29 BUT if you turned around there to go back west on Service Rd. South it was only (only?) $2.75
Within wallking distance you had that price difference.

. I am in NC and I just paid 2.69 for regular. I have a trailblazer too so if it goes up to 3.50, that menas it will cost me 67 freaking dollars to fill up my tank

there is an Exxon by me and regular is going for $3.55!!
Right across the street is Hess and it's still $2.71. I think Exxon is price gouging.
There is a hotline through AAA if you think a gas station is gouging. I don't know what it is, but it's probably on their website.
