Met with Rosalie my DOC last night - Advice to 06ers

Hi ladies,
I met with Rosalie from Expressions last night my DOC. I am soooooo happy to have booked her for my day of coordinator. We went over every single detail and every single contract line by line. She has a list a mile long of items to check and take care of the day of. She made me 100 times more excited for my day. So to anyone thinking of getting a day of coordinator I would definitely say 100% it is worth it. After all this time and effort I can really realx and enjoy my day knowing Rosalie is taking care of everything.

I don't have Rosalie as my DOC, but I agree 100%...DOC are a necessity!

Don't you feel so great? Just knowing someone will take care of all the little things so we can truly enjoy the day. I feel like a princess. I am so psyched. Since you're getting married before us, PLEASE write a review when you come back from your honeymoon and let us know how everything went.

I don't really understand how it works. Is she with you all day long? What else does she do? I think I might be interested in this. How much does she charge? Thanks.

Yes Rosalie is with me from the moment I wake up until I leave the reception hall at night. It is more like what doesn't she do...lol. She handles everything that day for me. Working with all the vendors making sure they are on time and providing all contracted services. Making sure bridal party and myself stay on our timeline. At my house accept the flowers and inspect them. Check church setup. Give out petal cones. Supervise and keep receiving line moving. I am having a monogram runner with petals so she will help with that. Come with us to photo location and make sure my veil, train are straight, check off must take photo list as they are taken. Go into reception hall and check that all tables are set up properly with number of table settings, runners, CP's, table numbers, menus,favors etc. Check cocktail CP's, light votive place cards, make sure all candles are lit in reception room. Work with Maitre 'd to make sure the evening runs smoothly. Take care of any problems that come up without me knowing about it (hopefully) lol. Gather all my items for me when leaving (toasting flutes, cake server, cards, gifts, etc.) So basically she just handles all the small details so you don't have to worry about a thing. I tried to cover it all. Oh almost forgot she comes to the rehearsal at the church the day before to run it and make sure everyone knows what they are doing and where they need to stand. Also the day of work with bridal party and organist, trumpets, for bridal party procession. I would email her for price. It might have gone up since I booked her last year. Oh, so you booked with her a year before?
As soon as I know where and when I am getting married (which will be next year) should I call her?

Yes!!!! she does ALL of this- NOTHING is missed- she truly is WONDERFUL to work with!!! I love her!!!!!!! I invited her to our Rehearsal Dinner too b/c she became a very special person in my life, so I wanted her to enjoy a night out before the craziness!!!! And I got a chance to sit down with her in a party atmosphere and go over some stuff too!!! You will absolutely love her!!!!

Yes I booked her last year. I knew I wanted a DOC and spoke with 3 different ones and after meeting Rosalie I booked her on the spot. I knew we would work very well together and she has been helping me ever since. She emails me every week and helps with any questions I have.

You can call her and book her before a place if you want. You meet a few times before the day to finalize all the plans and create a solid timeline. Good luck!!!
