Backinneyork's wedding was great!!!
Apologies for being MIA for so long - the review is still on the way (I promise!) but I've been working like a crazy person and trying to pack/move to Manhattan with DH. Okay, so the BAD news is that DH and I moved the day before Backinneyork's wedding and both of our digital cameras were nowhere to be found the next day when we were looking for them to take to the wedding
So, I don't have any pictures but I'm sure Christine will have tons to share when she gets back from Tahiti.
So, the GOOD news!!! Christine looked absolutely radiant and beautiful! Her wedding was incredible and everything came out so elegant and beautiful. DH was so cute and said, 'I don't think I'll ever be able to go to another wedding and not think about how much effort goes into planning it.' We could both tell how much planning and hard work went into planning Christine's gorgeous wedding.
Bourne Mansion, which neither of us had ever been to, was great. The food was fantastic (especially the chicken quesadillas during the CH) as was the service. The place is so gorgeous too! The weather was perfect that day so they set up 2 bars and a bunch of tables outside as well as the stations that were set up inside.
The details that went into the day were amazing. I don't know how Chrisitne had time to do everything. The nicest touches, IMO, were the programs which had some of their engagement pictures as well as a really cute 'on this day in history' timeline; the polaroid guestbook which LA Productions really hooked up by making sure they got people's pictures as they came in; the 'something old, something new' list on each table that told guests what the couple were using for each as well as the meaning behind the tradition; also, they gave out bottles of wine as a favor and the packaging was beautiful - red organza bags, tags and neck labels with their names and wedding dates. And, of course, I can't forget about the OOT gable boxes. They looked AMAZING!!!! The labels on the front were perfect and my favorite part was that inside there was a little 'thanks for coming' note with a picture of Christine and Dan from their e-pics.
And don't get me started on the CPs! You all know how I am about the flowers and Christines were out of this world! The vases were trumpet style and I think there were plums in the base. The flowers looked fantastic. Her 'red' theme really came across, but it wasn't overly done or 'in your face' if that makes any sense. It was so elegant and beautiful. Definitely the best wedding I've been to!![]()
