i am back and i am hitched!! (updated with pics)
everything went great! i am so happy to have a DH now, although it does feel a little surreal. surprisingly, i was so calm during the whole day, which i was convinced i would have an anxiety attack.
all my vendors were great, except my limo company. we went 5 minutes over our time and we had to pay for a whole hour! then at the end of the nite, we had a town car that took us to the roslyn claremont (great place, btw). the town car was included in the price with the other limo. when i confirmed with them before i was told to tip the driver. fine, that is understandable. i asked how much usually and she said 30-35. i talked it over with DH and we decided that 20 was suitable. i mean really, there is no way a town car would go over 100 and 20 is 20%, so we were not paying anymore. so we get to the hotel and DH (wow typing DH is wierd...) goes to hand him 20 and he says, no it is 30 and pulls out a bill!!! can you imagine a bill for an effin tip????!!!!
so we handed him the other 10 and we werent going to argue and it was our wedding nite and the marriage needed to be consummated....
i called and complained, and they are sending my 10 back. i know it seems petty for 10, but i find giving a bill for tip is out of hand.
all my other vendors were great. the hall did break my cake topper though.
. it is ok, i have a smaller version of it, and i am moving overseas, so i cant bring a lot of stuff with me anyway, but it was a bit sad. DH told me this morning.
my vendors are all in my profile. all (except the limo) were excellant! will upload pics a little later.
