FH wants to get six packs of beer with these personalized labels on them for groomsmen...

So much for classy! I told him that maybe a six pack of personalized beer would go with the Reef Mick Fanning flip flops we're getting the guys (they have a bottle opener in the bottom of the shoe). So, which label does he pick? The Jackass one! Apparently it's an inside joke. He wants to personalize each one (you can write whatever you want on each line, but he'll keep 'Jackass Ale' on every one of them to match the donkey). I think I have to let this one go because it's his group of guys, but it's gonna be quite interesting for this presentation at the Rehearsal Dinner.

My question is, my brothers don't quite have the 'Jackass' sense of humor, and they'll be getting a six pack of personalized beer, too. Should we pick out a different label for them, or keep it all the same?

yeah, it's his group of guys, so let him have it. i'm sure his boys will appreciate it but if your brothers don't share that sense of humor, i would get a different label. the gift will be the same which is nice, but you can personalize it a bit more to their style or sense of humor.

I think it's a great idea. Especially if it's an inside joke. Don't worry Sarah, FH keeps telling me he is showing up in a powder blue tux with ruffles. I tell him go for it. So if he wants the beer instead I would be more than happy to oblige!

yeah let it go, men do the strangest things, so if hes sure if his friends would find it hysterical, why should it bother us? lol
yeah perhaps u can get ur brothers a diff kind of different labels !

I think it's so great that I want to ask where you got them?? I would totally let him do it...........FH's GMs are totally into the beer thing so that would make a great gift!!

I definitely am not giving him grief about it... I was just lightly questioning the decision about the donkey label since they DO have wedding designs (including a ball and chain design - which I thought would have been more appropriate). BUT... he's insisting on the Jackass label. I'm actually the one that sent him the link to the personalized beer site in the first place! lol. I should have known he would have picked the least appropriate one for a wedding! lol. Eh... at least he's presenting it at the Rehearsal Dinner and not the wedding! I'm just happy that he seems to be getting more involved in these decisions this last month!

I like your FH's sense of humor!! Great idea! I think it's hilarious. Guys don't like class anyway. If you think your brothers will be offended by it, then get them a different label. Otherwise, I love it!

THANKS!!! Now I know what to get my groomsmen!!!! YAY!!!! Just one question...do you get to choose the beer or do they just give you crappy generic beer?
