Does anyone use Estrostep for their birth control pills?
I talked to my dr. about my period coming while I was still on my pills and she thought switching to Estrostep might help.
Anyone take this? Any crazy side effects?
My insurance doesn't cover much of it and there isnt a generic, so Im debating whether or not it is right for me.

I take estrostep. I haven't any side effects at all. My period usually lasts about 3 or 4 days, not sure if its from brand or just my body.

Extremely reduced sex drive. I thought it was me at first, but I looked at a website with different birth controls and a lot of girls complained about the same thing.
Other than that though, it was great. Short periods, barely any cramps, and I saw a reduction of migranes during ovulation and menstruation.

I switched to Estrostep from the Patch in December. It's not bad, my period is like 3 days and I have very little cramps.

i am also on estrostep have been on it for 7 years.
i get a 3 day period
i get swelling, cramps and headaches.
my sex drive is not reduced though.
different for everyone i guess

Estrostep DID NOT work for me. I had been on my archaeic pill for 10 years and thought it was a good idea to switch. I experienced heavy break-through bleeding and a longer period. I went back on old reliable...I guess if it aint broke don't try to fix it

I am on estrostep. I love it. I have not gained any weight, sex drive is not affected. I have an extremely light period and it lasts for about 2 days.
