Just when I thought I had it alll figured out...

FH and I met with Franklin Square Photography and they literally blew Bliss out of the water!

Before I started looking online FS Photo was my first choice because I knew just how good their work was as my cousin used them for her wedding. I guess what they say is true, always stick with your first choice!

If Bliss was 'love' I don't even know how to start to explain how amazing FS Photo is!

They have the same if not better quality in photo and video. Give you MUCH more for your money (though they still are ) and the best part is we have total control over the whole process after the wedding is over!

Everything is done on premesis and when they put together you're album layout you pick and choose exactly what you like and what you want changed until you're happy with it, for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Same works for the video! They give you a sample DVD and then you tell them what you like vs. what you want taken out or added in.

I'm going to make an appointment for friday to go and book them!

Okay girls I just got to work and read all your responses and I promise to update this thread with whatever info I remember on first break and I'll either FM you or post more specifics when I get home and I'm looking at the actual stuff we have.

Just know that for photo and video with A LOT included we're paying before tax over $7k

Okay so here is a few more details.

All the packages come with the same things, the only thing that makes the difference in the pricing is the number of images you want in your album and parent albums.

Off the top of my head the packages include

2 photographers

Flush Mount 8x10 Bride and Groom album

Bride Brag book - fits in your bag and has about 10-20 pictures flush mount (the cutest thing I've EVER seen!)

2 parent albums

A 5x7 portrait for every member in the bridal party

one 16x20 wall portrait AND 2 8x10 family portraits (we're giving these to both sets of parents)

Engagement shoot with one 8x10 print either in studio or out of studio and they'll do it basically anywhere you request. If you just request it be outdoors their usual location is the Garden City Gazebo or the beach in long beach

Professional framing and $50 credit towards any frame.

UNLIMITED retouching/special effects/black and white/sepia for all pictures

All proofs in a leather bound album AND on CD

UNLIMITED time on the day of your wedding. Meaning if you go over what is usually the standard 10 hours you don't have to worry about paying extra or them leaving before everything is done.

That's what I remember from the Photography package off the top of my head. There might be a few more things that I left out. If so I'll update when I look at the info I have at home.

The videography packages range in price too according to how long you want your final video to be but all packages include the following:

2 videographers

3 Chaptered DVD's including intro and credits

Photo Montage including baby, dating and honey moon photo's

UNLIMITED editing until it meets your approval.

All the raw footage of the day on DVD which usually amount to about 5-6 hours of unedited video

Okay I think that's about it. Like I said I don't remember prices and I don't want to quote the wrong amounts so I'll add that later when I'm looking at the stuff.

All in all they really are fabulous and if you're seriously considering them you should go check them out cause they only book 100 weddings a year and once they book that 100th wedding they close the book for the year and start booking the next year.

The reason they do this is so they have extra time to pay attention to all the little details of your wedding to make your photo/video as special as possible. So if you're seriously interested, go check them out!!!

OK do you know if the bridal brag book is something new??? This is not in my package...never heard of it...should I ask them for it???

Also I don't think they are giving me a 5x7 for everyone in the bridal party...did you ask them to add this in for no extra charge or did they just offer it to you? Please let me know - my wedding is in 5 weeks and I'd like to ask them to throw these 2 things in if you got it for no extra charge. I didn't try and negotiate with them at all...so I'm wondering if I did they may have thrown these little things in.

the bridal brag book was part of the package and the 5x7 for every bridal party member is a choice that is also included. But you have to choose between either 2 additional brag books OR a 5x7 for every BP member. We chose the 5x7 cause we would have to get them anyway.

I forgot to mention before that you also get as many thank you's as you need

They gave you the engagement photo's to view at home on a CD?
