Ok, well when I first announced that I was getting married my father agreed that he would pay for the honeymoon. He stated that he would pay for a cruise for both my fiancé and I to visit the Caribbean. Now three months until my marriage I find out from my mother (They are divorced) that nothing has been arranged or finalized and I am going to have to find a cruise myself and to keep it under 1,000 if I want him to pay for it…. I am at work right now and I just want to burst into tears. (More so from the fact that I relied on him to take care of this when I should have known better)
I am not sure if I can find something at that price that is nice and not a hole in the wall especially on such short notice. UGH!
So I am asking for any contacts or nice afforable places for a honeymoon. Any help that you girls can provide would be greatly appreciated.

If you belong to Costo or BJ's they have some GREAT cruise prices - check them out.
Honestly, just start with travelocity! That is where we got ours. They have some great deals. You can also go through a travel agent.
You will find what you need. You just have to do some leg work.
For each cruise that my FH and I have gone on, we booked through Vacations to Go. They have a list of all the cruises by date and region and you can click on each to find which itinerary and prices work best for you.
Customer service is really great and each time they made our booking very easy.
Vacations To Go Click on 'Find a Bargain' on the left hand side.

Here's a list of the Caribbean cruises leaving after 8/18/07. There are more than these but they leave from the 25th onward. These are the ones closest to your wedding date. HTH!!! Also, any way that you and your FH can pay for whatever is over $1000?
It shows the departing date, then the port where it departs from, then the cruise line/cruise ship names, then price.

I knew you guys would help me out I really did :)
I am going to show my FH everything and we are going to go over all our options. He feels we should just take the money and put it to a house. I just dont want to feel like I am missing out on anything because of this.

OMG, yesss!!! DUH! I was so busy trying to find cruises I totally forgot about Tom! He's great! And he'll be able to give you other suggestions that work with your budget too! Yes, email him please!!!
Someone on here in another post says that the jetblue.com vacation packages have better prices than the other big sites. maybe check it. Also are you an AAA member - - they give a bit of a discount too.
