For those brides that are getting married at Leonard's La Dolce...can I ask:

How much pp do they charge for Friday/Sat evening....during the month of May/June. What kind of wedding package do they provide...and what is the min?

Also if you live in the Suffolk County area...how do you feel about your guests traveling to Nassau.

i dont know the price for leonards although i hear they have great prices.

But dont even worry about living in suffolk and getting married in nassau. Its really not bad at all. I live in queens and got had my reception in long island. People deal with this all the time for weddings, hey ive had to go far out in suffolk for weddings, the bronx, all over NY even to florida. Plus although alot of my guests were from queens there are also many who aren't so for some it was easy to get to LI, some had to drive a bit more. Just go with a place you love not just one that is closest by. If people complain about having to drive 30 mins to an hour then let them, those who care about you wont care at all

Oh and about the travel. Its nooo big deal at all. I traveled to nassau many time for both of my cousins weddings etc.

I mean I have half of my guests traveling from Boston to Long Island for mine. I wouldn't worry about 30min - 1 hr ride
Especially since it would be going against traffic if you did it on a Friday night.

i looked into a Friday night in June (2010) and got quoted $69 with HEAVY throwins. I'm also in Suffolk County and it didn't take me long to get there (LIE is great when it moves).

Personally, i asked that ? before about the traveling and at this point, I don't care anymore. they'll come if they want :D
