Re: **Official Boudoir Pic Advice/Tips Thread**

Here are some of mine.. might not all be applicable to everyone.

I recommend bringing a few more wardrobe changes than you think you'll need, in case you fall out of love with any of them at the last minute.

If you're wearing your hair some way that you don't normally wear it, check after a few shots to make sure it still looks the way you want it to. I wore it down and there was one pesky curl that kept falling in front of my face. Not sexy b-pic curl, but young chick, high school prom type of curl. I think I fixed it after 3 or 4 shots so I won't have many that I don't like.

Don't wear anything you're seriously not comfortable in. I think it'll show in the photos....

Add some color (I was tempted to wear everything in black because I thought it was 'slimming'). But color looks awesome.

If you're nervous, have some wine before you go. But not too much.

It's really fun and by the end you'll wish you could do it all over again!

I'll add my own after next Saturday...but this is from Fedali's site...
We want you to feel and look your best on the day of the photo shoot. So here are a few helpful hints:

1. Take care of any waxing/shaving in the sensitive areas (such as bikini line) at least the 2-3 day before to avoid irritation and redness.

2. Make sure you drink plenty of water 24 hrs before to avoid dehydration and looking tired.

3. Eat healthy and avoid fatty & salty foods, which can make you bloated.

4. Do NOT drink alcohol the night before, it will make you puffy the following day.

5. Try not to eat anything that may stain your teeth.

6. Check your mani & pedi, they do show up in close ups!

7. Get a good night sleep!

8. Practice, practice, practice….yes, in front of the mirror ;) You can also flip through a Victoria Secret catalogs to study poses. Bring your favorite pages with you to show us what you like the most.

9. Wear loose clothing before the shoot to prevent marks on the skin.

Thank you so much!!! This is all great advice! I'm doing mine with Mariann from Blue Daisy Monday April 13th. I'm freaking out!!! I can't wait, and am terrified at the same time. I just hope I don't come out awkward in the pics...

Re: **Official Boudoir Pic Advice/Tips Thread**

Here are the costume changes I have so far. Please tell me what you guys think!!!

First the ruched halter dress. I'm going to be wearing it with cuban thigh high stockings, a long strand of pearls, red lips, and a long black ostrich feather as a prop.

(here are the cuban stockings I'm talking about)

Look 2 is the CRAZY burlesque look!!! We sell this outfit at my store and it's beyond sexxy!!! Bow pasties and garter set. I will be wearing it with a bikini panty with ruffles, instead of a thong/g-string because I have a huge giggly Latin a.ss I'm doing black fishnets though, because they are more slimming and look better on me.

Look 3 I haven't been able to find ANYTHING like what I have in this picture example. Anywhere!!! And we SELL lingerie in my store. I've checked Fredericks, VS, all the brands we carry (Full lines, we have the catalogs) and NOTHING!! HELP!!

Look 4 is a Clubwear style dress, which I'll do with lots of gold and sparkly jewelry and high heels.

Look 5 is your typical sports jersey/tee and tube socks, boy shorts, etc.

Finally Look 6 is nude! On the bed with white sheets, and bright colored daisys I bought at Michael's as props. I've seen this done it looks beautiful!! I couldn't find a pic that wasn't Flash though.

Re: **Official Boudoir Pic Advice/Tips Thread**

my adivce is ,

1 before you go def practice different poses, it will help get right into it when you go and give you a little more confidance.

2. Buy a lot of outfits i did a 3 hur shoot and brought 10 outfits with me i used all but one

3 Def get some accessories also, youd be suprised what somwthing small like a pearl necklace will do, it just adds to the sexiness factor

4. Dont be afriad of anything, just have fun with it, when else are you gonna do it, I was worried b/c I was spending so much money but once I got there and started putting on my outfits, it was totally worth it and I felt so hotttt

5 one last one I think you should def get your hair and makeup done it def helps

good luck girls

I didn't have my b session yet but I just want to add:
1. Make sure you clean your ring(s) and any jewelry that you will wear the day off. I just clean my rings and they needed it. It's so sparkly now.
2. Don't do any activities that will give you any bruises. I am so upset my knees are all banged up from construction this weekend. I hope they go away soon or else I'll need some makeup on my knees.

1 - im afraid to get my ering cleaned - cause i know that a few of the prongs need to be fixed and they'll make me give it to them and i dont have 10 days for them to fix it. (oops)

2 - dont fret - im sure she can always touch up the bruises

Get some fun props. I used a comic book because my hubby likes them and I used a bright lollypop. Colors always are fun and bring one of his shirts that is always sexy.

You can use mild soap and a toothbrush to clean it. If you want, I bought a bottle of jewelry cleanser from Macy's. You can use it, I'll bring it with me.

I have 4 bruises on 1 knee and 3 on the other. It's ugly!
