Some advice for girls doing bpics..
After doing bpics this weekend,. I just wanted to share some advice I have for other girls doing it (or considering it). Girls who have done them too, please feel free to add on!
1. Be careful with makeup!! I ended up getting lipstick on my white giants jersey BEFORE I took pics in it! Luckily, it was on the bottom and I was rolling it up anyway. Just be mindful of dark makeup with light colored outfits.
2. Watch out for tags! I didnt even THINK of this one..until one of the other girls at the session mentioned it. With some sheer or lacy lingerie, you can very visibily see tags. Cut them out before you go, especially if your photog doesnt edit every pic!
3. Wear heels!!! Even if they don't show in every pic, wear heels in EVERY picture. As soon as I added heels to each outfit, I felt so much sexier (and skinnier too!)
4. If youre hesitant- just do it!! Think about- what other time in your life will you ever take pictures of yourself in sexy clothes? Do it for yourself, just as much as you're doing it for FH. Its such a great experience. And you can always look back on those pics 25 years later at what a hot mama you were!
5. Dont be afraid to speak up!! The photographer had me sitting, just normal and I could see my thighs doing that ever so annoying thing where they spread out. I felt uncomfortable but went with it, figuring she knew what she was doing. A few shots later when she showed me on the camera- i hated how my thighs looked!! So I told her and she changed the position. Then in future shots, she worked with me to hide my thighs.
6. On the other hand- Accentuate your favorite parts (and FH's!). I have small boobs..but a large butt. So I made sure to take pics that showed off my butt.
7. Bring more outfits than you plan on wearing. Just in case you have last minute changes, a backup outfit is good to have. I realized when I was there the boyshorts I had to match my giants jersey...didn't actually match! Luckily, I had a neutral color that did match!
