I think I stressed over alot of things too much, everything worked out fine.

Just research your vendors well, and the little things usually fall right into place with your hard work.

I think I kept my stressing in check for the most part. I really didn't allow myself to get upset about anything either before the wedding or on the wedding day itself.

The one thing I WISH I would have stressed over, is the chance of rain. I kept such a positive attitude that it would be a sunny day, that I never had a backup plan for my pictures. I regret that like you wouldn't believe!!

But in terms of stress...nope. I kept a coool head! I had to. I get panic attacks if I'm too stressed! It's not worth it. No thank you!!

I made sure I didn't get stressed from the beginning and I did enjoy planning process. We were buying a house around the same time....so I think I was more stressed with that then the wedding. I'm glad it is over though.

I spent a lot of time planning my wedding and i was really happy with how almost everything panned out. If I hadnt spent the time planning, I dont think i would have been pleased.

So there was really nothing I regret stressing over. The only things I was unhappy about are the things that I didnt spend much time and figured 'I wont care'.

I regret stressing over the programs and favors, and I wish I had just ordered everything.

I wish I had researched my band more, and I wish I had spent more time visiting photographers, bands, and limo companies.

I wish I had found this site sooner so that I could have the knowledge I do now about vendors.

I regret stressing over the ceremony, because it turned out to be the most beautiful and simple thing we did!

And most of all...I regret asking my mothers opinion on anything!

I truly wish I was a lot more assertive in the beginning of the planning - my family and DH's were too 'helpful' in the beginning and I didn't put them in their place until half way through. Things got a lot better then - once DH & I made it clear who's wedding it was people backed off

same here. The only thing I stressed over was the weather. It was supposed to rain, and it didnt I had NO control over that. I tried NOT to stress over the little things. The more you stress, and if something goes wrong...people will notice. If you leave it be, and take it for what it is, so one will ever notice

I regret stressing that hubby was not involved, looking back now he caused me more stress with his procratination than anything else, I wish I would have had an attitude of if you do good if you don't good. Everything esle was perfect.

I too wish I had a backup plan if it rained for pics. Regret that. Also wish I had researched photographers more, I think I rushed that decision.

the only thing I regret...I didn't stress about (our hotel the night of the wedding)

I don't regret stressing over anything, b/c everything really did turn out great!

I laugh at the way I was so neurotic with things - once the wedding's over you see how silly some things are, at least with me.

things like:

envelope stamps
my menu cards - spent DAYS on them and no one saw them

I don't necessarily regret anything but in retrospect I didn't need to worry quite so much on everything - I guess it's easier said than done though

I can be very honest when I say, every little thing that I stressed over was worth it if not to anyone else to me. I loved all my little stressfull additions.

I know I really got myself worked up over EVERYTHING but in the end it was worth it to me. We had a beautiful wedding the way we wanted to have it.

On a related note, one of my co-workers was commenting last week about how much work we put into the wedding. And how beautiful and precise everything was. That made me feel like the things we, well mostly me , stressed over were worth it.

I tried very hard not to stress-out over anything! I think as it came closer, I was upset that it would rain after all that planning but like the other girls said, you have zero control over it. Also, the only other thing I stressed about was running out of time! I wanted to get things done ASAP so that they were checked off my lists! Eventually I did run out of time but everything was done!
