Going to a wedding tomorrow...

Hi ladies!!! I'm going to a wedding tomorrow afternoon at the Woodbury Country Club....I'm soooo excited...I used to teach at Molloy college so I had this girl as a student, then she studen taught with me, and now she works with me...she's my little protege!!!

Anyone need me to look out for anything??? Take pics of anything???

The wedding was AMAZING!!! My friend looked gorgeous and the place matched!!

She had the downstairs room. It was a day wedding and she had uplighting on the wall opposite the windows and you could totaly see it! The cocktail hour was outside and the weather was amazing! The food was delish...my only thing was that the staff that was at each cocktail hour station didn't speak English that well so when I asked what was in some dishes they just smiled at me and told me the name of the dish over and over. There are some foods that i'm allergic too so I was cautious of those stations. She had the Italian station, the Chinese/Japanese station, the fajita station (with Coronas lol) and a carving station. Tons of passed hord d'ovrs too! The bar staff was awesome...after 2 drinks, they remembered my FH's drink of choice! One minor mishap...we had the clumziest waitress ever...she basically slid the pasta dish across the table bc it fell out of her hands, then spilled an entire tray of drinks on another couple at the table, and then dropped my dinner knife and fork on me...somehow IDK if she was making it to another wedding after this!

I'm not sure who the DJ was but he was pretty good...although he forgot to tell people to sit down while the pasta was getting cold. Both my FH and I had the chicken champagne and it was awesome....one of the best chicken dishes I've had at a wedding. For dessert was the wedding cake (strawberry shortcake) and an apple crisp with ice cream and a strawberry sauce which I couldn't eat either one since I'm allergic to strawberries, but my FH said the apple crisp thing was really good.

Overall, the wedding was awesome!!!! My friend that got married was actually one of my students (I used to teach at molloy college), and then she was my student teacher, and because she was so awesome, I made bethpage higher her as a teacher...so now she's a colleague and a really close friend...I just cannot beleive that my little protege is married....
