Bridal Shower ideas

Bridal Shower ideas

Happy Labor Day everyone!

Since I have a useless MOH, I will probably be planning my own shower with my mom ...

Any ideas for locations in Queens or Nassau?

close to an LIRR would be awesome too, since I have several friends who would be coming from the city and don't have cars.

TIA!!

You can look into a bunch of different places in Rockville Centre - there are so many restaurants that are a short walk from the train station there. Cannons, Croxleys, George Martin, Chadwicks, Cielo, Monahans, Churchills, etc.

I'm open to anywhere but Nassau is farthest east I want to go because I have mostly people coming from Queens, New Jersey and Westchester.

I would check out Thom Thom, it's in Wantagh right by the train station literally almost right when you walk downstairs from the platform. They have a private room upstairs.

Also there is the Wantagh Inn, I have never been to a party there, but I know people who have.

Bourbon Street on Bell Blvd - Donovans( that bar near the firehouse) has an upstair space on Bell as well

Peppercorns in Hicksville is soooo good, it's right around the corner from the train station and has a really nice room upstairs for private parties!

I'm not sure how far away the train station is, but Pompei's in West Hempstead was awesome! They throw a lot in and there are big and small rooms to use.

Agree with Wantagh Inn, literally across from the train station and the food is pretty good. There are also a ton of restaurants near the Rockville Center and Merrick. I'll give you some restaurant names tomorrow when I'm back on LIRR.

I went to a birthday party at Hemmingway's in Wantagh. It's right off the train station and I thought it was a really good spread.

Yeah, we did this place for my sister's baby shower and it was perfect.

Also - Bell Blvd in Queens is a great idea. Around the corner are Donovans and Maggie Mays and one other place. Down the block is a Bourbon St. where we just did a Mardi-Gras themed shower for my cousin

Luigi's in New Hyde Park has a back room, good price, and delicious Italian food! Not super close but maybe a 10 min drive from LIRR.
