The LiWeddings.com family would like to congratulate Christy Postel and John Carrano on their engagement and impending wedding. The couple were engaged just before the holiday season back on November 20, 2005, John has tricked his soom-to-be bride-to-be, Christy into believing they were getting an early start on their Christmas shopping, starting with a gift certificate for a friend. And, as fate would have it, it just so happened to be at the location of their first date. Once in the parking lot, he casually reminisced about their first meeting and asked Christy if she remembered at least two things that happened at that site, but all she could recall is that is marked the location of their very first kiss. John, then told her to note the second, as he got down on one knee and proposed. Christy, a bartender and grad student from Medford is also the daughter of Tom and Sue Postel. John, is an accountant, from Deer Park, and the son of Bob and Sue Carrano. The couple are planning an Auguest 2007 celebration at Majestic Gardens. We wish them all the very best.
