Congrautulations to Jen Pandlfi and Lou D'Ambrosio on their recent engagement and impending wedding. Jen, a teacher from Seaford and daughter of Amelia and Al Pandolfi and Lou, a Commercial Real Estate Professional and son of Linda and Lou D'Ambrosio of East Islip were engaged on April 18, 2006 while vacationing in Punta Cana, Dominican republic. In her own words Jen recalls: I couldn't have asked for anything beautiful. On the first night of our first vacation alone together, he asked me to go for a walk on the beach. Of course, me being my usual self, put up a fight not to go but eventually gave in. As we were walking hand in hand, he stopped, dropped his shoes in the sand, got down on one knee. I couldn't tell you what he said to me because all I was thinking was 'Oh my God, he's proposing to me!! This is the moment I have been waiting for!!' He put the most beautiful ring on my finger and I hugged him as tight as I could. It was the most amazing night of my life. They look forward to a July 2008 celebration at Russo's On The Bay We wish them all the best.
