Congratulations and best wishes to Eliza and David of Sound Beach.
The couple, a Studentand child care provider and window treatment installer from Sound Beach, and the children of Jeff Meir and linda Ozorio respectively were engaged this past April of 2006.
The happy couple were engaged amidst the scenic backdrop of the exotic Island of Kauai at a restaurant overlooking the water at sunset. The bride's ring was placed in a hand-made chocolate box garnished with a single strawberry.
And, yes, the groom got down on one knee causing the entire restaurant to applaud.
They look forward to a July 2008 celebration.
