Congratulations and best wishes to Traci and Lonny of Farmingdale.
The happy couple, a teacher and daughter of Charles Nickola and Kim Joy, and a Web designer and son of Charles and Susanne Dreler were engaged on June 17, 2006 at Gilgo Beach.
In the bride's own words: Lonny hid the ring in a shell and waited patiently for me to notice the unique shell. Of course I picked it up and to my surprise, when I turned it over, there was the ring. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
They look forward to a May 2007 celebration.
