Long Island Engagement Announcements

Mr. Cordell Cox proposed to me on July 1, 2006 at 9:30pm at the South Street Seaport. We had dinner at Cabana's and then we went for a stroll. We found a location that we liked and we sat down and started speaking about the relationship and how it has been for the past three years. He stood up and looked over the water and I remained seated. Cordell then squatted down next to me and started talking to me about the relationship. He then told me to close my eyes. When he told me to open them he was on one knee and believe it or not I didn't even think anything of it. When he opened the box, he said, 'I'm proposing to you; will you marry me?' Of course I broke down in tears and of course I said yes! Talk about the happiest day of my life. He placed the ring on my finger and we hugged and kissed!! How wonderful!! Congratulations to Kelly Leacock and Cordell Cox who tied the knot on April 22, 2007 We wish them all the best.
