Long Island Engagement Announcements

Congratulations and best wishes to Karen and Peter. The happy couple from Bayshore and Freeport respectively were engaged on December 13, 2006 at Pete's parents' house. ' It was a very long day for me, I took off from work to get some Christmas shopping done at Tanger in Riverhead. Needless to say it poured all day, I went back to Peter's parents house, where he lived in a downstairs apartment. I walked in soggy and upset that I didn't get any where near as much done as I would have liked, only to find Peter standing there with all the Christmas decorations pulled out of the closet because he decided he wanted to decorate the tree. I realy wasn't feeling up to it, and it didn't help that his parents were watching his neices so every time we put a decoration on they would take it back off again. Finally his parents went upstairs with the kids, so I flopped down on the sofa from what I saw to be a very miserable and tiring day. Peter came and set next time, he was making a very funny face and started to sweat the next thing I knew he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. In the end what was a miserable day ended up being one of the best and most memorable days of my life.' They look forward to a May 2008 wedding at Our Holy Redeamer We wish them all the best.
