Congratulations and best wishes to Maureen Pogan and Michael Romano and to their respective families; Patrick and Janet Pogan and Louise Romano.
The bride, a student from Masspaequa Park, and the groom, a Town of Oyster Bay Employee from Massapequa were engaged on December 16, 2006 in Central Park.
'Mike took me into the city to go to FAO Schwartz and to go see the tree at Rockafeller Center. When we exited FAO , mike thought we should take a carriage ride around Central Park, and almost at the end of the ride mike got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, i was totaly suprised and could not wait to go home to show my parents whom to my suprise already new because he has asked them for the blessings a month prior.'
They look forward to an April 2008 wedding.
