Krystal Garcia and Brian Wilson

Krystal Garcia & Brian Wilson

Saturday, December 9, 2006

The way Brian proposed must've been the sweetest and most surprising thing anyone has ever done for me. His whole family was over my house (and so were mine) for a pre-christmas dinner. After dinner, we all sat in the living room and the door bell rang. My dad answered it and came back in with a package addressed to me. I was kind of confused since it was like 7 at night and I wasn't expecting any packages but it did have my name and address and was written as sent from my cousin in Florida. While I was opening it, I didn't notice the other 20 smiling faces looking at me. When I finally got it opened, there was a ''build a bear' inside dressed as a NY football Giants bear (Brian is a die-hard fan). That's when Brian said to press his hand and when I did, I heard my future fiance's voice say 'Krystal Garcia, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?' :-) Then he went down on one knee and took out my beautiful white-gold ring and placed it on my trembling finger. I cried like I never had before....I made everyone else in room cry too. I was so surprised and I was so glad both our families were there to witness it. He had thrown me off so much before that...telling me to make no plans for the following week because we had dinner plans. To top it off, he had two more surprises in store for me...he asked my 2 best friends and his closest friends to come to my house afterward with my favorite cake from Cake Man Raven (in Fort Green) - Southern Red Velvet Cake. It was def. a wonderful and memorable day! Congratulaions to Drystal Garcia and Brian Wilsonl and their families. The happy couple looks forward to a May 2008 celebration. We wish them all the best.
