We are pleased to annouce the engagement of Soyini Waltin and Dimitri Dube and extend our congratulations to their families; Betty and Rolston Waltin and Mona and Jean Dube.
The two, a Project Engineer at Frito-Lay and an Attorney at Dechert, LLP were engaged on December 25, 2006 at the Waltin's residence in Mount Vernon, NY.
'Dimitri proposed Christmas night. He went before the bride's entire family and his family (50 plus members), went down on one knee and presented the engagement ring. The moment was truely spectacular as Soyini lulled the room with her mulitudues of loving tears. The beautiful Christmas dinner turned into a wondeful engagement celebration'
They look forward to a November 2007 celebrtion in Mount Vernon, at the bride's home church which is also where her parents were wed.
We wish them all the best.
