Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to announce the engagement of Karin Hartmann and Lawrence Paretta III and to extend our congratulations to their respective families: Toba Hartmann and John R. Hartmann and Lorraine Paretta and Lawerence Paretta II The couple a Medical Sales Professional and a Library/Information Sciences Professional from Searford and Wantagh respectively were engaged on March 3, 2007 at the Garden City Hotel. 'Larry took me to Ruth's Chris for an 'anniversary dinner'. After dinner, on our way home - I realized he wasn't going the normal route. Arriving at the Garden City Hotel, Larry told me he had a surprise for me and we were going to stay at the hotel for the night to celebrate our three years! He had checked in earlier that day and set up a very romantic king suite. I was welcomed with rose petals, wine and candles. As soon as I saw the suite, I was in tears - and the proposal was perfect! We went home to my house to celebrate with our families, then met our freinds out to celebrate and ended our night back where we began (at the Garden City Hotel) to spend the first night of the rest of our lives together!! :)' They look forward to an October 2008 celebration.
