Long Island Engagement Announcements

He always said it would not be on a holiday so who would suspect it would happen on Easter Sunday....... I gave him an Easter card in the morning and his response was... Thanks but I didn't get you anything..... Later on that day we went to the Milleridge Inn in Long Island,NY for dinner with about 35 members of his family and my immediate family. He tried to lure me to his Mom's car but ofcourse I crushed that idea and threw a hissy fit in the parking lot saying to my Mom ' Can you believe this.. he left me in the parking lot and just walked away'.... Dinner was at 3.. and we had just arrived to meet the family for our 3PM seating... I had his Niece and Nephew's Easter Baskets in my hand and we had decided to put them in the car.... When we got there, Vin opened the trunk and said 'I did get you an Easter Basket'... he handed over a shopping bag with an Anne Geddes Baby doll dressed as an Easter bunny and then gave me the Easter Basket.. I threw the Easter basket to the side and said Thank you... He insisted I opened it and I replied to him ' But I can see what's inside ...it's just an Easter basket' .... So eventually I opened the basket and pulled out a small bag ... It had a picture ( rather funny) that I took of Vin while we were in Disney.... Vin was wearing a Goofy hat making a Goofy face.. and at the bottom of the picture read...'Will you marry me?'..... Ofcourse I immediately said 'I Love you' and then said 'Yes'... Then asked to see the ring!!!!. We then walked into dinner and announced to my family and his that we were engaged!!!!!!! Congratulations to Kimberely and Vincent . The happy couple, engaged on Arpil 8, 2007 look forward to a July 2008 celebration. We wish them all the best.
